Unsure what to do - Clomid advice please!

Hi girls. First time venturing over here (I didn't join till i was pregnant) but i had 2 1/2 years of TTC and finally conceived on 2nd attempt at Clomid.

I took 150mg of clomid with follicle tracking as this is standard course in my area. I know lots of ladies don't get follicle tracking. I also know that I never made more than 4 follicles. I have VERY rare periods (sometimes 1 a year) and always had to take Provera to bring on a period.

Here lays my dilemma - yesterday I started a period all on my own!! And I have 1 cycle of Clomid in my cupboard (it was prescribed for me pre BFP and it obviously wasn't needed) and I don't know whether to take it. We want to try soon and I know that we will need to be referred again but given this illusive AF, I don't know whether to just go for it. I need to decide today as today is day 2 and I might not get this opportunity again due to AF not liking making an apperance.

What would you do?!

I've not done the clomid thing, but, if it was me, I'd take it! Why wait for the referral just to be told to take it when you have AF and some there all ready to go. Just check its still in date?

I would say as long as they're still in date go for it!!!

Take it, you don't have to go for the follicle tracking scan and have the jab

If it was me, I would take a shot at it. Providing you ovulate without the trigger shot of course. xx

id give it a go def, im on clomid myelf atm and me n hubby sed if we do get pg, iv gor 2 more left so id save it and use it agai xx

take it! I have 2 cycles of Clomid left that I did not need! I am saving them for number 2!

You can def. try and if it doesn't work then u can be reffered but you may b able to save some $$!!! Best of luck

Go for it, but keep watch on the hyper stimulation symptoms and that just in case (even though you've been fine with other cycles on Clomid). it's not fun in any way shape or form and yes, you can get it from clomid even though it's rare.
