I've changed LO's milk from c&g 1st infant to comfort, so I have lots of unopened ready to feed cartons and bottles in the cupboard. I'm just wondering what to do with them as its such a waste, do you think any charities/ hospitals would take them if they're unopened?

Any friends who will have them? Or you could see if you can return them and get your money back or exchange for comfort milk.

No none of my friends have babies lol! I don't have a reciept so I'm not sure if they'll take them back but I might try!

No store refunds or exchanges milk- its government advice. This is because they don't know how it's stored etc. milk would have to be destroyed if they did take it back. Also a few years ago some nutter was injecting stuff into the milk and taking it back.
Better off taking it to a local mum and baby group? Someone there may buy it off you?

Maybe take into to your local health visitor drop in? We have donated stuff there in the past. The HV give donated items to hard-up new mothers in the community. xxx

We kept our stuff when we changed formulations for doing things like mixing in with baby rice and adding to baby cereals and stuff - since you're only ever using a ridiculously small amount to do so in the initial stages.

are you a part of a mothers group? maybe offer it to them - or put it on ebay/craigslist/gumtree
