My daughter is Shani (pronounced Shaynee), it means marvellous in Swahili and red or crimson in sanskrit. My friend is called Gifty, which i believe came from her mum when she was travelling in Africa. Heard of very few Shani's and only one Gifty! Good luck finding your unusual name. xx

Im struggling for a name aswell wanted something nice but uncommon but im totally stuck ill keep an eye on this thread though :)! x

I don't know if it's that unusual anymore but I named my daughter Harmony. lol

I love Anya too... it's one that I keep forgetting about though.
I really like Arlo and Loki for a boy.
For girls, Kyla, Calliope, Calypso...
Actually, I have heaps. Good luck! I hope you find the name that works for you.

My daughter is called Summer :-) Another way to get an unusual name is to take two names you like and stick them together :-)

My grandmother was the queen of unique names. My mothers name is Ianna (like Dianna without the D" I have an aunt Tonda, and an uncle Asa. I love unique names, we are planning on going with Brave if its a boy. :)

My son's Harrison, I know that's not unusual but since you liked Harry, I thought Harrison was a little more unusual than Harry :)

I love unusual names but I'm a bit afraid that my ideas are too unusual and might sound weird.
My current favourites are: Chaim David for a boy and Tinuviel for a girl. But I still have time to think this over *g*

i met a couple once called Keith and Shannon. They called their daughter Keisha, half of each of their names!! Really thought that was cute!
