Hi ladies

Had bleeding this morning followed by a speculum and turns out I could be fully dilated with buldging membraines baby swimming up high for now, my little boy came the same way. On bed rest upside down for the foreseeable future. Little bit scared as I Am only 24 weeks my little boy came 25+5 and know this time there are increased risks due to being so early weight is around 1.7lb that's ok but could do with being a little bigger. Please little baby cook a little longer xxxx

Oh hun, I wish you and your LO all the best. I don't know much about this but isn't it a good sign that your membranes haven't ruptured yet? I know some ladies have actually ruptured and gone on to carry the baby for another 3-4 weeks! Can they do anything about the dilation--is circlage out of the question because you are almost to 10cm? Wishing you the best of luck and hoping that this bedrest helps!

Putting your little one in my prayers that you can get a few more weeks.

Are you at a hospital with a nicu? I know Durham can go RVI or North Tees, my LO is just out of North Tees but spent time at the RVI and Freeman and I don't think I can fault the staff at any of them.

The baby in the cot next to my little girl was born at 14oz, and she's gone home not even on oxygen. They can do amazing things even for the really early ones. x

Sorry to hear you have dilated. I hope lo lasts a bit longer as every day makes a difference xx

Hi ladies

Thank u for you kind words, because of the dilation and I am having bleeding and pain they can't do a great deal. I was hoping I would be being transferred to rvi tomorrow but not even sure if that is safe now see what docs say in the morning. Just hope this baby is as strong as their big brother to get through the first hurdle. Stay put a little longer, baby is still high not engaged yet so every hour counts.

Thanks again xxxx

wishing you all the luck in the world xx

Fingers crossed for you, hun. :hugs: I hope your little one stays cooking for a bit longer!
