Sorry to be a pest, but I am freaking out a bit.

Had a positive test at 15 dpo (I think) on Sunday with random afternoon urine, fairly long hold. The line wasn't as dark as the control but it was still a definite positive.
Stupidly, I tested again on Monday with fmu at 16 dpo and got a faint line, which took ages to develop. This put me into a blind panic and I tested again on Monday evening - again test took ages to develop, and wasn't that dark. My partner had thrown out the other two tests (he didn't realise why I was keeping them) so I didn't have a comparison, but I managed to keep Monday nights test.

I then tested again this morning, fmu, and got a slightly darker like. The picture below shows 17 dpo fmu at the top and 16 dpo afternoon underneath. Do the lines look dark enough, and is this a good enough progression? I'm really nervous due to two previous losses, and they won't do anything at the epu until at least 7 weeks, despite my history! They won't even run bloods!

Thanks for reading!

Those lines are really good. As for the other tests, it could just be that your urine was too diluted, despite the hold. And testing at different time of the day can give different concentrations.
Sorry the epu won't do anything before 7 weeks. Mine wouldnt either.
Congrats on your bfp.

Do they? I have only ever used midstream tests in the past, and always had strong positives right away, even earlier than I am now!

It just sucks as they didn't even advise me about easy steps like baby aspirin, extra folic acid etc. I had my hcg measured with my first pregnancy at a different local epas so I might phone that one and see what they say. It was just horrible how negative she was, almost presuming I was going to miscarry!

Oh my gosh. Who HASNT obsessed over lines after a loss ! You are definitely NOT abnormal thee.

I'm so shocked your clinic won't do anything for you until 7 weeks!?! Can you go elsewhere?

Now, regarding the lines, all I can say is i honestly had the same thing for this pregnancy after 2 previous losses. And I'm 37 weeks today. I was on here cos my test from the second day wasn't as dark as the day before.

People said all the typical things: maybe my pee was diluted, maybe the test was a different strength, etc etc. did I believe them? No. Were they right? Yes!

I found it took a good couple of days to actually see convincing darkening.

Please try not to worry (as if!!) but remember there is truth when they say test 2-3 days apart...

There are two hospitals within a fair distance of here. One treated me with my first cm and they were horrible (she told me to "calm down" and then accused me of peeing on the floor ... And then asked if my partner was on the scene, and asked if I had told my parents. Although I was young (21) and looked a lot younger, I felt I was being treated like a silly little girl. Not keen on going there!

The second clinic were amazingly supportive, and scanned me from as soon as I had a bfp, every week until my miscarriage and they were even excellent afterwards.

I went out and bought 75 mg aspirin tablets, I am taking Pregnacare plus omega three and an extra folic acid pill. I have ran out of tests and I am going to wait until the weekend before testing, and deliberately going to buy a proper test and not a cheapie so I can't compare!

Good on ya for waiting til the weekend - I couldn't have that much self-control, but it's definitely the right thing to do! Keep us posted

My partner is working away tomorrow into Thursday so when I am done with work I will be busy with dog walking etc, and then we will probably do something special on Friday night, so it will be the weekend before I know it!

I will post back here when there is something to update - probably Saturday when I test!

I tested this morning with smu, I am now 22dpo and got a whopping dark line which is as dark as the control line and reacted as the urine was passing over it, so I had a line before I even had a control line! It was a slightly different branded test but it was three tests for £1 so still very cheap! I will post my progression in a bit. Definitely reassuring!

Test looks a lot lighter now it is dry but not worried as it is still as dark as the control - maybe even slightly darker.

Top test 16dpo, second one 17 dpo and bottom one 22dpo. Although I am starting to think I might be slightly less far on than I thought, as we pulled out until the Monday and I supposedly ovulated on the Saturday!
