I went for my first doctor's appt last Wed. where my doctor did everything. She did a pap, took swabs, urine sample, lots of blood work, and had me get two different ultrasounds (one being an internal). Everything seemed good so far. I've had some light cramps at various times of the day, lots of potty breaks, backaches here and there, with a little bit of nausea. I've been eating healthier and drinking tons of water. No coffee and no soda (thats a killer).
So last night I went to the bathroom and saw a very small amount of blood on a toilet paper. I didn't panic and decided to wear a panty liner. When I went to the bathroom again I saw very very light pink spots (really small amt.). I changed the panty liner again. Just before we went to bed I had another potty break. This time it was a little more red but just one small spot. I got very nervous because I don't want to lose this baby. I told my OH and kept my head very level. All night long I was up going to the bathroom (too much water) but no blood was on the panty liner. The same thing this morning no blood at all. First thing I did was call my doctor's office. My doctor would not be back until tomorrow but I knew it was important to tell them.
When I talked to the nurse she said all of my test results from last week came out normal including the ultrasounds. She told me that I would have to wait til tomorrow as my doctor will more then likely want me to come in. She told me that I will probably need another ultrasound and another blood test to check something else. I was told to keep watching for blood and amount as it could lead to a miscarriage.
I've been monitoring but not a drop of blood since last night. So I'm not panicking I am staying positive about everything especially because of everything coming up normal on all the test results.
I guess I just need to let this out because I have until tomorrow to see what happens. I know this can be normal but its still scary. I am keeping everything positive and telling myself that the baby will be ok. Sorry this is so long I just don't have anyone to really talk too. The worst part of this is that my OH has been through a miscarriage with his ex so we didn't tell anyone about the pregnancy because that was his fear.
