update on baby Aiden

Hey ladies, its been a while since I've updated you all on Aiden. To refresh your memory- my due date was 4/1/10 but Aiden was born on 1/13/10 at 28w6d weighing 1lb 13oz 14inches (iugr). He has done very well in the nicu without any setbacks, just needed to eat and grow. Well he was discharged from the nicu to on 3/28/10 weighing 5lb 12oz!!!!!! he is doing so well. He loves to eat and I'm enjoying being a mommy. As of yesterday he currently weighs 7lbs 5oz and is 19inches!! I'm so proud of him. Pictures will be coming soon....

aww that's brilliant news, you must be so happy and relieved! What a lovely story, so glad it all turned out so well for you.

It's so nice to see premature babies progressing - I had Sophie nearly 4 weeks ago, at 27 weeks after I developed pre eclampsia. She was 1lb 13.8 and 13 inches long when she was born. She was weighed yesterday and was 2lb 6.5 I just can't wait to get her home...
