Hello ladies,
I'm going to be in Miami in most of November for holiday.my little man will be 8.5 months old by then and I will wean him of before we arrive. I've been exclusively expressing from day 1 and it wont be possible on holiday.
I wonder which brand formula is the best/ most recommended over there.the leading brands here are Aptamil,SMA and Cow andGate.Ideally I wouldnt want to change brands.I will need ready made ones as well as it will be easier to use while we cruise.
What do you ladies recommend?
Thanks

There are 3 big brands here - Similac, Emfamil and Gerber. It's hard to know what will suite your LO best, as every baby is different. Perhaps you could look up the ingredients of the formula he eats at home by that time to see which is most similar? I think that would be the best way to go.

Personally, my LO likes Similac (the orange bottle for Fussiness and Gas). Emfamil smells funny to me and LO doesn't like the taste, but some women and babies LOVE it! Does your LO have any special needs, like reflux?

My LO takes Similac advance... They have ready to feeds in bottles and jugs.

my lo loves enfamilgentlease for fussiness and gas one. They also have the ready made stuff of that. I dont know about the other ones although they are very popular but everyone i know have had there babies on enfamil gentlease or something similar!!

We used Enfamil at first (we had tons of free samples) but then decided to go with Earth's Best Organic formula. I have a friend who uses similac for gassiness and fussiness and she likes it. Not sure what the difference is, our pedi told us to start with milk based formula and take it from there. I am not sure if the ones for gassiness and fussiness have a different base or not.

I also use Similac Advance and Similac for Gas and Fussiness. I mix the two together as my baby would spit up often with the Advance alone.

I use Similac Sensitive for Gas and Fussiness. LO seems to be doing well on it.
