vaginal varicose veins???

Im 25 weeks and from the beginning had intense swelling down below sommuch it hurts to walk and do not want to have sex, I just looked in the mirror and swear its huge varicose veins is that possible there? Any way of relieving it im scared this will hinder a natural birth :/ thanks!!

I have them too.
I had them last time and had a natural birth with no complications.
They are sore and unsightly, but shouldn't cause any problems. Xx

I had them too with my 3rd. Surprisingly however they didn't return with my 4th pregnancy. I also had a natural birth without complications and they resolved almost immediately afterwards.
I did however find my libido was ridiculously high which I put down to the increased blood flow in the area. The thing is if we did have sex the swelling in the area was 10 times worse.

I had them last pregnancy and this pregnancy again mainly on the left side. They are very painful for me too but putting an ice pack down there (sounds gross but helps relive the swelling) really helps as well as compression stockings. I wouldnt be able to walk without the compression stockings they are my life saver...expensive but worth it.
