I'm going to be renting a house from my grandparents and it needs a lot of work. Well, my oh and dad are painting the porch today but the porch connects right through a door to the kitchen which is open but there is no ventilation as its cold in the house already and the heat is on. I had a mask on, and I was not really near the porch at first. But then, I went and ate lunch over at my nanas house and got some fresh air then I had to go in with no mask on and get a different one because the first one I was using was making me gaggg. So got my second mask on. Then I was on the porch cleaning windows with some glass cleaner. I did open the door to the outside for most of that time. But then I went back into the rest of the house and I was cauking some little holes in the kitchen then I stopped that. And all the while I could get random wiffs of the smells. So now I quit and am outside again. I never got nauseas or dizzy. Just wandering if everyone thinks my lo is okay or have I done something terrible? :/

Your LO should be okay, just try and get fresh air. It is recommended to stay away from painting etc etc etc, but I painted my daughters nursery through her pregnancy, and painted my children's room and various other bits of the house this pregnancy. If you feel nauseous or faint then make sure you get out and sit down in the fresh air.

Should be okay
Me and OH painted our bathroom when I was pregnant and I even bleached the window frames etc with no masks, as long as everything is well ventilated you'll be okay

Well see, it wasnt ventilated at all except when i was actually on the porch. But i was wearing like i guess a ventilator mask? Im not sure but it wasnt really just a typical mask. I could only smell it now and again. But there was really no ventilation. Thats why im worried.

You should be.fine. you werent.held up in a clost inhaling paint, lol. Funes can make you dizzy even.not.pegnabnt, so make sure you were your mask of they are gettinf.to.you and take frequent breaks. Ive painted and use cleaning chems daily, including blach and windex and we are all good.

you an Lo are fine, as long as you wore a mask and where in ventilation there really are no illl effects. I painted one of my kids rooms asked doc first and that was what he told me to do
