Seem a few posts about people wanting a normal birth after 2 sections.

Ive had 2 sections and 1 normal so it is possible!

My first i was induced laboured for 4 days got to 9.1/2cm i had a drip waters broken and they decided on a section for a "failure to progress" as of you dont feel bad enough without seeing that on your notes! Baby was back to back also.

My second i went into labour naturally at 41 weeks again a very long 4 day labour, they broke my waters to try speed things up, which it didnt, finally 10cm dialted, to long pushing and no baby arriving, taken to theatre for forceps, at least baby coming out right way this time.....wrong.. Couldnt do forceps as cord was in the way, so another section it was, totally gutted again. And again baby was back to back.

My 3rd labour, went into labour at 41 week 2 days. After hospital wanting me to have a section at 38 weeks but i totally refused they wasnt going to touch me this time they has assumed and told me i would be booked in for a section without even asking me! No i said my body my choice and id like to try again, just so at least i tried if i was to have a section for any reason in the end. I stayed at home as long as i possibly could this time, which when i rang to say i was in labour, they said it was fine to stay at home a day and half later pain was so bad i decided i wanted to go to hospital. I arrived and found out i was 7cm no wonder i was in so much pain but also told baby again was back to back but all my thought was if i stay at home longer the better. 6 hours later midewife says abiut breaking my waters as they hasnt broke yet, i refused point blank i wasnt going to let them mess with me this time, 2 hours later doc comes in and says right we will take you to theatre and do forceps i said no, if nothing is wrong you dont need to do that, said they would get papers for me to sign just incase i changed mind, 20 mins later doc comes back with papers, midwife says to late babys coming, doc throws papers in air, duno if was joke or not but do laugh about that now, few pushes and baby passed to me, i was so happy and cannot believe it to this day....

My feeling for me is that if labour and birth is messed about then i end up with a section and i refused everything they wanted to do as there was no need intervene as nothing was wrong. Be a long labour or not i wanted that!

So first labour induced, drip, waters broke, clip on baby head, full monitoring belts, ended in. A section

2nd baby natural into labour, they broke waters, clip on babys head, full monitoring, ended section

3rd baby told them i wanted to not have anything in labour, so i had no waters broke, no clip on babys head no forceps, and to left to labour for aslong as i wished and ended natural

Hope this help some how so you know it is actually possible!

This is positive to hear :) i take it everything was fine with your scar etc. I would just love to have a VBAC2, but didnt even seem an option. I dont know whether to put my foot down and insist.

I also want to do vbac, only had 1 section! I'm excited to try as my dr said yes!!!

Thank you for a positive encouraging story!!!

Congratulations on your VBA2C! I would love to VBA2C myself but almost impossible here.
