Last night, on day 7DPO, I had a decent amount of brown blood. My initial excitement of thinking it could be implantation bleeding, was quickly diminished when I began looking into spotting due to luteal phase defects. My temperature this morning remained high... so my question is.... with spotting associated with luteal phase defects, do temps remain high, or do they decrease near the coverline? My luteal phase last cycle was 13 days, FYI. And, I have been VERY stressed this cycle with some personal issues. Thanks in advance!

It doesn't sound like you have a luteal phase defect if your previous one was 13 days. I don't temp so I'm not sure about that but I would guess that spotting would cause your temp to drop just like getting your period does. If this was IB you should get a positive urine test in about three days. Good luck :flower:

To me it just sounds like IB, dont be worried :) Test in a few days xox

I read that if no pregnancy, temps remain high until you get your period. So, if you're not spotting now, and your temps haven't altered much, then def could be IB! Can't wait to hear how you get on! Stress obviously can cause all manner of differences too, try and chill and let us know :) x

Thanks for the reassurance ladies! I just fear that with as much as I have stressed this cycle, there is no way I can be pregnant. Maybe its just me preparing myself for disappointment! I'm encouraged my temps are still up, but I had a little more blood today. Its all so frustrating!
