What are your (honest) thoughts on the name: Kyloh

If your friend named her new baby boy Kyloh what would your feelings on the name be?

Some options:

Kyloh Austyn
Kyloh Anthony
Kyloh Nicholas

*Pronounced "kai-low" / "Ky-low"

Ah, it's not for me. It sounds kind of made up, like not a real name.

I actually really like it. I would pronounce it ky-low the same as Shiloh.
I don't think it sounds made up and yes it is very unique xx

The ending reminds me of Playdoh? My friend has a son Kylon, reminds me of that x

not a fan sounds like something I might name a pet. It doesnt sound awful but I would not give this name to a little kid

I really like it!
Kyloh Anthony is my favourite.

Could also spell it Kylo maybe?

I don't like it but I don't like 'K' names anyway, especially on boys. Prefer it to plain Kai though I think. I love Milo which is similar.

Thanks for all the feedback. I did, technically, "make it up" many years ago. I've had it on my list of future baby names since I was a kid - haha. I still love it after all these years!

Originally I planned to spell it "Kylo" but worried that may look like a misspelling of the name Kyle on forms and class lists, etc. I like both spellings: Kylo or Kyloh

When I googled the name - I found that it is actually a known surname. So not "made up" after all!

Looks odd. Kylowe makes more sense to me. To each their own.

I quite like the pronunciation, but I'm not keen on the way it looks written down.

I like the name but not how it looks iykwim. Tried to find a better way but all I came up with was Kailo and that would probably be completely mis pronounced by people x

Love it! Hate the spelling for Austin though (OT im just a spelling nit picker) but I love the name. Like another said its similar to Milo which is a perfectly common name so its not like people couldn't prono uncle it.

I'm so-so on it, but if pushed would go for the Kylo spelling. The 'h' feminises it a bit for me.

Caelo would be an alternative spelling. Cae means field in Welsh and is pronounced Kye.

I like it , have you mentioned it before on the forum? It's not the first time i've seen it.

It's possible - I've been TTC for several years now. And i'm quite active on this baby name thread!

Thanks!

To be fair, weren't all names 'made up' at one point or another. It's not my taste but a nice name all the same. I know a little boy called Kylan, which is kind of similar and that suits him down to the ground. Not 'different' or odd at all.

Also, I agree on spelling Kyloh. The 'h' makes it seem more like it's own name, rather than a variation/misspelling of Kyle.
