very unsettled baby

Was wondering if you ladies could give some opinion in whether this could just be coincidence my son has from birth been a two to three hour sleeper and feeder, we have been ebf for the last week and a half after a rocky beginning anyway my OH gave him a bottle of formula last night as I had to nip out I told him not to anyway that's a different story! But my son was very unsettled all night waking up every hour and crying could this have been due to the bottle or was this just a coincidence? X
