My husband, Violet, and I were all sort of snuggled together on a chair and Violet wanted to nurse. She popped off, pointed to herself and said "baby!"
I responded "Is that why you drink milk? Because you're a baby?
She then responded with purpose and determination in her tone of voice and a pause between each word, "I. drink. shirt." ("Shirt" is her chosen word for "milk.")
It was so cute and I was caught off guard by her using a complete sentence!
