The level of vitamin a in the vitamin you were taking isn't close to harmful levels (and even at amounts in excess of 10,000IU every day for weeks there is less than 2% chance of it causing defects). As long as you haven't been consuming liver or other foods high in the retinol form of vitamin a you have nothing to worry about.
Too little vitamin a is worse than too much tbh.
Eta: just pointing out that 10,000 IU is equivalent to 1000UG. But the form - retinol vs beta carotene is more important to take note of.
