Has anyone heard of vitex?
What does it do?
How does it help?

I just started Vitex at the beginning of this cycle. I have very irregular cycles so I read that it can help regulate your hormones to make your cycle more normal and regulated. A lot of people use it to help lengthen their LP if it is too short. I am hoping it will help shorten my FP and O sooner. It can sometimes be up to 6 months.. blah!

We just decided to TTC last month so here to is hoping Vitex works!

I think it is to prepare your body for ovulation? It's either a derivative of or another name for Chaste berry tree. My naturopath prescribed a product called Vitanica Pregnancy Prep to me, that I really like (and actually got pregnant within two months of each time I used it-although both ended in loss). It has Chaste berry tree extract in it as well. The idea is for it to help balance your hormones. some of the other ingredients are to increase circulation to the region, improve cm output, and balance you out. I actually just purchased some on Amazon today because I'm starting ttc back up again after an ectopic has finally resolved itself.
