I'm 7 weeks on from my most recent loss, I had two previous losses and ovulated and conceived again within three weeks with both of those. This time I actually wanted to take a break and wait for AF, but 7 weeks later and there are no signs of ovulation or AF happening anytime soon, it feels as though my body has given up and my cycle has disappeared altogether.

I just wondered if anyone else waited a really long time for AF? They told me at EPU I would have AF from 4-6 weeks after the mc and it's obviously going to be a lot longer than that for me, worried my cycles are going to be completely messed up for a long time.

I'm sorry for your losses :hugs: After my loss, it took six weeks for AF to return, and it felt like it was taking forever. I was so scared my cycles would never return. My doc had told me that if it took longer than six weeks to call her because there were things that could be done. I'm not sure what they would be, because AF returned the day before I was going to call. But it might be worth letting your doc know it's been longer than they predicted so they can hopefully help you get things back on track.

Good luck! I know it sounds impossible but try not to stress about it too much. I was told stress can actually delay AF returning. I feel kind of dumb and unhelpful to repeat that because it's a total catch-22. To be honest, I couldn't follow that advice very well, but I feel like it did help near the end to just focus on things that are relaxing and remember that if it didn't start on its own there was help available.
