Hello

Just wandering what everyones wait time was from initial fs app to actually getting HSG?

X

usually by the time you have gotten to a fs you have been trying for a year or more, so I would think an HSG would be one of the first thing your FS recommends.

I've got a 2 week wait (mine's on Tuesday!) Hope your wait isn't too long - have heard that some people have waited a couple of months or so x

Thanks girls

Sbee - oh that's good then, I'm hoping for a similar wait time !
I suppose it depends what area you live in, on the paperwork I got sent it says the wait may be long....

Good luck for tues, sure it will be fine !

Do you have a follow up app booked in after your hsg ?

X

No follow up booked at the moment Ebony_Blaze. FS told me that if all was ok (no blocked tubes etc) then for 3 months after HSG there is a higher chance of falling preggers so to keep trying for another 3-6 months before returning to talk about IVF. Thing is, I got a letter from the clinic yesterday very helpfully informing me that I have to be ttc for 3 years and be under 40 years of age before NHS will fund me ... problem is that math doesn't work for me :-( So, just gotta wait till Tuesday and see what happens then ... if i'm blocked up then I assume I'll got back to the clinic for further treatment...? Just don't know so trying to wait out these next few days as sanely as I can (not really working for me today but hey we all have our ups and downs!) I just gotta keep smiling and be thankful that my HSG appointment came through quite quickly.

Hope all you ladies are having a lovely weekend x

oh I see, I didn't expect that they will tell you to keep trying, guess I will just have to wait and see myself, but as you say, it's very hard.

Good luck and have a lovely weekend

Xx

I got referred to FS in around June/July 2009. Doctor had me go for blood tests then referred me to FS. Had my first appointment in about the November (I think), then had lap and dye in February this year so not too long a wait x
