Waiting buddies for period AUG 7-9?

Hey ladies!

I'm on cycle 2 ttc#1.
I've had ewcm the past 2 days (cd 11 & 12) with watery cm too. Haven't seen any ewcm today yet. Just watery before I came into work. Had a 30 day cycle last time so expecting AF around the 9th of august.

Who wants to wait with me and symptom spot after O? Hehe

I'll be here I'm on cycle two of TTC#1 too! I'm slightly ahead of you. Ovulation should be either today or tomorrow (positive OPK yesterday), so AF due 4th/5th Aug!

Ooo yay! Finally someone who is due around the same time as me and same cycle. Since I don't temp and only keep track of cm I'm not sure when I O. Last cycle I had 3 days of ewcm then dry right after. So I'm not sure when O happens in relation to ewcm. I've read that it happens after ewcm stops?
I've made sure to DTD the day before yesterday and today. (Yesterday OH wasn't Feelin the BD since it was so darn hot)
What do you know about when O happens in relation to cm?

I'm due around the 9th August and this is our 9th month of TTC.

I haven't O'd yet, but I should next Thursday. Last cycle I had an early MC so I'm not sure if my cycles will go back to normal or not.

For the first few cycles we didn't temp or track CM or OPKs and just BD whenever we felt like it. Then I started temping, CM and occasionally OPKs, although I found them pretty hit and miss. Usually with CM, it's be dry or creamy, then turn watery and then some, but not all, will get EWCM. Then it should dry up once the egg has been released.

Unfortunately just tracking CM and OPK doesn't actually tell you if you've O'd. Some people get all those signs because their bodies are preparing to O but an egg isn't actually released. Temping is the only way at home to know for sure that you've actually O'd.

Thanks. Yes I won't say it was easy. From what I've read, you can often be more fertile after a MC and having one doesn't increase your chances of having another. So we are remaining as hopeful as we can that this will be our month.

I'm not all that clued up on the signs, I think EWCM appears a few days before and disappears after! I take daily antihistamines, so I generally have v little of anything but ive paid more attention this month and noticed EWCM quite clearly on Wed, Thurs, Fri .. not so much today. Which probably ties into ovulation being yesterday maybe. I decided to use OPK's this cycle as I'm a bit irregular and totally missed O last month 😳 So I feel a bit more in control this month at least knowing roughly when for increased BDing! Although I feel suspiciously like I'm coming down with a UTI today :'( I swear my body is not geared up for sex. More than two days in a row and im pretty much guaranteed a UTI.. I've ended up in hospital twice with kidney infections when I first met the other half 😳 Got one last month too.. I follow all the rules, go to the toilet straight after, drink a shed loada water, drink cranberry juice, barley water .. nothing helps!! Not ideal TTC! But oh well, shall power through! :-D

So sorry for your loss Sarah. I hope this cycle is the one, fingers crossed all!

Wow what a pain bollz! That means you have to time your bd-ing really well otherwise you'll get a uti and will be out of commission for bd until it's gone right?

Pretty much! Its v annoying, last doc I saw said to see how it goes but possibly take a low level anti-bio a couple weeks a month or keep some in to take as soon as I feel a twinge! So think I'll go back and see if I can do that!

I'm def not feeling great today but kinda grinned and beared it yesterday (v romantic &#128516 and will maybe go one more day today before admitting defeat!

Awww.. that comittment right there lol. I'm not so sure what's happening with me. I had ewcm for 2 days (cd 11&12) then watery cm yesterday and today. Last cycle I got real dry/ creamy after I think I O-ed. And had ewcm everyday leading up to it. Not sure why I'm not having as much ewcm. But I'm bd-ing almost everyday since I've seen it. So hopefully that'll do that trick.

Thanks Bollz, antihistamines can really dry things up but it sounds like you're making EWCM so that's good. If you're worried it's not enough, you can use preseed or other fertility friendly lubes. This cycle I started taking evening primrose oil and today, for the first time 9 months of trying I have EWCM. You must only take it from AF to O and stop it after you O.

Puppylove, do you know what CD you dried up last cycle? If it was later than CD11-12 then maybe you haven't O'd yet. One cycle I got really watery CM around CD 8-9, just like I get when I O. But thanks to taking my temperature, I knew I hadn't actually O'd then and later in that cycle I got watery CM again and a temp rise.

Last cycle i tried up day after last ewcm. It was also my first cycle off bcp and it seemed like I had O symptoms (cramps, ewcm, watery cm) few days later than I am now. I noticed just a little more ewcm yesterday which made it 3 days of ewcm like last cycle then I dried up last night and today. Similar like last cycle. Yet I'm still getting to know my new/ off the pill body lol. We shall see what happens.

Thanks Sarah! We have been using Concieve + actually, thankfully by chance read that normal lube is useless for sperm just before cycle one! I'll see how we go this cycle and consider the primrose oil!

Ended up at the out of hours GP today, thankfully it seems only a v low level infection so doc is making me see if it clears up on its own as I've had so many anti bios for UTI's already! Although I do feel really crappy, I've been laid on the sofa with really bad dizziness all eve probs just while my body is fighting infection I guess..
