Waiting to hear on results of doctor preg test... NOT MY OWN

Just found out my friend who is dating a trashy girl (whose 19) and just broke up with and got back together is going to a doctor to see if she's pregnant. They've been together like 5 months max...They did take a HPT and it was negative so is it safe to say theres another reason for her very late period. I feel terrible, but I'm hoping so as he doesn't want a baby. Now Im on pins and needles waiting because we have to go out with them tonight.

How many HPts has she taken? If she's gotten a few negatives, then the blood test will more than likely come back negative as well. For your sanity, I hope that it does.

So an update. This "friend" who was supposed to come out with us tonight texted us right when we went to pick him up to wait a bit. Then he was like "I think it might be positive". I had had enough BS at this point because he was clearly hunting for attention so I said, a positive pregnancy test is a plus or two lines or says "pregnant". doesn't take an idiot to figure that out. I've seen one before. He replied saying it was two lines like an hour later. Also, they had said they were going to a doctor yet didn't end up going? As of right now, I'm not sure whether he's just lying that shes pregnant or that she is. He is a compulsive liar who faked a heart attack to get out a party before so not sure. I want nothing to do with him, but my DH is his friend. So sigh...someone who is in an on-off relationship with an 18-19 year old skank for like 4 months got her pregnant. If in a month he tries to claim she had a miscarriage, I will rip their faces off. It was all clearly a lie then. Anyways, just had to leave the christmas party tonight early because DH got too depressed from hearing all this.

Also: My life is not this childish. This is just one lowlife who sticks around us. I don't fill my life with these types of people so don't get the wrong impressions please

Yeah, those tests are void after 30 minutes..even less than that. What idiots! Doing it for attention, no doubt about that .

Urgh this sounds like something an ex of mine would do. I spent three years with him, the only person in the entire world believing his compulsive lies. Everyone around me thought I was the biggest idiot for believing him. I fully believe that in those three years my IQ dropped significantly and never recovered, to punish me for being such a gullible fool.

Compulsive liars always end up hurting people. I'd ditch this "friend" to save you & DH's sanity.

So update,

Found out DH's friend's gross GF is pregnant. He texted him asking to go for drinks and my DH got the confirmed answer out of him. Instead of saying the traditional congrats, he was like "damn that sucks dude" and tried to put a reality check in this guy who is jobless, living in his rich dads house, and can't hold a job down for more than 3 months and is a uni dropout. He was like "guess you'll be busy looking for a place, a full-time job. thats nice you get to spend the rest of your life with her though .I had no idea you were so serious".

we may sound evil, but when the circumstances are as bad as theres are having only dated like 4 months barely knowing each other and this guy has been a bad friend anyways, its not so bad. He also was like, guess I get a +1 to your wedding now and DH shot it down saying there wasn't room on the guestlist for her. (as if I want someone 8 months pregnant at my wedding)
