Waiting years to get to assisted conception, naively thinking it will work :(

I'm sure a lot of you are in the same boat. Waiting years for answers, or ultimately a child of your own to hold. 2nd iui has now failed, and I'm starting to worry, we might not have our little bubba by the end of it... Only 1 more iui cycle, and then 1 IVF to go..... Any success stories to keep me positive?! ...only recently found out DH has borderline motility, everything else appears healthy...

Hello, sorry things aren't working out so far for you. After my first failed IVF my doctor told me to think of IVF as like a course of treatment, sometimes it works first time, sometimes it takes a little longer. I read once that if you keep at it, you will get there eventually. Laws of averages say so! Don't know if it helps you but it does me. Sending you lots of luck for your iui.

Sorry you are feeling down. We may soon be moving to IUI & IVF. I am sorry I do not personally have a success story for you, but if your husband is the only issue, than IVF has a great shot at working...basically the procedure does most of the work for the little guys & gives them a boost.

Good luck on your journey & try to stay positive. After LTTTC, I know it is difficult. Just keep thinking you will be pregnant in 2014. Science will catch up with us.
