Alex has been waking the past 5 nights. At first we thought it was teething but the tooth is through now and any painkillers don't seem to settle him any better.
I've gone to change his nappy as a last resort and whilst it was quite wet he doesn't seem to have out peed it. He has calmed and finally gone back to sleep with a fresh nappy but I can't think what the issue is?

We use flips with 2 inserts and disposable liners, but not the paper kind.

Hmm, maybe he's waking up for something else, but once he is awake he is aware of being wet? That's something Romilly used to do. If she slept through, she'd sleep... but if she was woken up enough to be properly awake, then she'd not go back down till we changed her.

Maybe try fleece liners at night? They may feel dryer against his skin?

^ wss. my LO never really fusses about her nappy but if i leave her in a prefold too long it irritates her skind and she starts to get little sores. Much prefer nappies with a stay dry layer :flower:
