Want to bake a cake, but got no eggs....

I really wanna bake a cake, but only got one egg in fridge, and got no car today.

I have used this recipe when I have been down to the last egg!
I did use it for fairy cakes rather than one large cake though. I am not great at cake baking anyway but these came out great and there were no complaints from the kids!

6oz caster sugar
8oz self raising flour
6oz butter
1 egg
splash of milk

preheat oven to gas mark 5 (375/190)
mix sugar and butter
add egg and flour
mix in milk and whisk
Takes about 10/15 mins in my oven, so might be different depending on fan oven etc
