I chose Bailey Robin, for boy or girl when i found out i was preg..:D

Bailey has been a favourite name of mine for a long time... and the Robin part was my uncle who sadly passed aways name. i only told my parents about having Robin as a middle name, then when Bailey was born and my gran was watching her get her very first bath, i told her i was calling her Robin after her son, and she started crying, thanking me for including my uncle in her first great grandchilds name - a very speical moment i will never forget xx :flower:

awww with my 1st , i picked joshua as i just felt it was right i didn't know any joshuas & i like names that when shortened still sound nice. Alot of names when shortened i dont like so wont use them but its not after anyone in particular, however his 1st name is double barrelled like mine & its joshua-lee , lee is 1 of my brothers who i am close too.

With this bump again im picking a 1st name which i just like or think sounds nice with joshua & again when shortened still sounds ok, Ive not yet decided on the 2nd name but i'm thinking Ted after my granddad. His 1st name was edward but he was known as ted, my nephews 2nd name is edward after my granddad so i think having Jaxon-Ted he would get either jaxon, jax or jt :)

Yes, Alex covers most of our family names!

Alexander is in my dads and grandads name and Alexandra was phoebes middle name x

We didn't have a reason for Seth apart form liking it. I drew inspiration from The OC lol, my fave TV show!!

Thomas is my grandads name, he passed away 11 years ago.

xxx

Lexi was the name of a character in a book I was reading whilst pregnant. My hubby liked Lily and I liked Lexi. He sent me a mothers day card from Lexi, his way of telling me that I got my way!

I said it was only fair that he chose the middle name so he chose Rose for English Rose and we live in Lancashire which is the Red Rose county - so he was actually quite thoughtful!!

I had to promise to have Lily if we have a second girl!!

Alfie Lewis William - Alfie is my foster grandads name and a name me and OH both love
Lewis is my foster dads middle name and a name i like. William is OH middle name.

Amelia-Rose Faith- OH loves Rose and wanted something like Petal Rose but agreed to use a name i liked i did suggest Amelia Rose but he liked it as one name so we both picked Faith as her middle name , a name we like.

I caught Ballykissangel a couple of times when i was younger and always remembered the name Niamh and so when it came to the birth of my daughter we had to names, Elisabeth Neamh or Neamh Elisabeth, we went with the latter although Neamh is heaven in Gaelic and not pronounced the same and the meaning is different ( my OH found it in a old Gaelic baby book) Just to add my OH is scottish and has a unusual spelt surname so think i will be apologising to my daughter for a while lol!

archie just because we liked it...robert was my late grandads name and georrge is oh late grandads name

me and oh chose the first name years ago, we looked at others but preferred the one we thought of originally, the middle names were added a few weeks ago
