Probably a very stupid question lol  ...

I have had 2 babies both of witch my waters didnt break , But after watching some delivery programme tonight iam petreified when the time comes next year they will brake on my brand new bed !!!!! .
So just wondering if anyone had thought about this , Or actually did soak the bed  .
Is there any way of stopping this happening , I mean in all likely hood it will probably be the midwife who does it again lol , My body likes to start well but then doesnt do the main important bits lol ..
So what have you thoughta bout this girls ??? . xx .

u cud always get a waterproof sheet for under nearth ur sheet jus incase xx lol

Well lol I think if you have the right reaction you'd get up!

I was sat on couch and I felt 'something' and a dribble I was like hmmmm I didn't sneeze or cough then I felt something else something made me move pretty damn fast!!

Rhyl swimming baths it was by god did I flood the living room! In shock I went to sit down after the "I hope I'm not pissing myself" ..."nope this is definately not me pissing myself" and he told me "DON'T SIT DOWN ON THE COUCH"  Barstood!

Heard of people doing this actually! I'd put a sheet then a spare duvet and the fitted sheet over the matress :D

I had a really sharp twinge at about 6.00 one morning, went to toilet and it just gushed out. I was so pleased I had made it to the toilet in time!

HaHaHa Wobbles at least you didnt sit back down lol ...
I hope if it does happen i get a trickle so i can move quickly to get off my very nice new bed !! lol ..
In all likely hood i bet they dont go probably same as other two contractions hospital brake the waters endless hours of pain etc etc Pmsl . xxx .

Mine did break on my bed at 6.30am!! i just turned over and 'pop' it was gushing out all over! so yeah use a waterproof sheet lol x

lol mine broke in my mums bed LOL!!! id had contractions all day and i went round hers cos she has a bath and all i have is a shower lol, and i was laying in her bed when i heard and felt a pop! my mum and DH insisted my hip had popped (they heard it to) but i kept on tellin them it was my waters and i made DH put a towel down before i sat up, but it didnt all pour out till i actually stood up so i wouldnt worry to much, you can but cloth mattress protectors i think, i wouldnt want the plastic sheet it would be uncomfortable, but im definatly getting one becuase i really dont wana wreck my new mattress lol!

Definatly go for a matress protector water proof.
My mums didnt break with all 3 of her kids so she said to me not to wait just go to hospital if your in labor and my mates said no point wait till water breaks! think mum knows best here.

I've always had a fear of waters breaking in the middle of a shop or somewhere..... I get embarrassed quite easily at the best of times but I think if my waters broke in public I would be mortified!!!!

Will definitely take all your advice tho and get a waterproof sheet nearer the time!

My SIL's waters broke on the way to hospital in her husband's brand new Audi!!!!!!!

Umm, no I've not really thought about it to be honest! x
