DH and I have been TTC for almost 4 years. Had an HSG test done back in June this year and that month got preggo but didn't stick. So, I consider myself "starting over", but was told I should come here after a post I just make a few minutes ago since it's been "so long with no success". I found that a little rude personally. Trying to conceive is the same process whether you are new to it or not. Plus, I posted it in the Two Week Wait section anyways...

Soo, here is what I posted...

I have had brown (not even pink tinge mixed in like usual) for the past 3-4 days. Today, the brown has practically stopped. Odd....generally the spotting will continue right up until AF shows up. Same with the sore boobs....

I had sore boobs for almost a week as of 4 days ago and I usually have sore boobs the until the moment AF shows as well. Very strange...Still getting BFN's though. Honestly, I don't know what to think. I still have at least until tomorrow and at most a couple days after just in case it is just running behind schedule. I was sooo sure AF was going to show until the spotting went away and that is when I started thinking about how my boobs are usually sore right until AF shows too.

Anyone have this happen to them and end up with a BFP?? I will keep you posted on whether AF shows or not! Thank you to anyone who helps!!

Hi, I just replied to your thread in the TWW Forum. Sorry about your loss in June but to me that is bittersweet, because although you lost your bub, at least you know you can fall pg naturally. And I kinda get why you don't want to be LTTTC, no one wants to be here! Anyway, I sincerely hope you genuinely don't need to be here, and skip over to the pregnancy threads very very soon.

i sometimes get brown spotting before AF so i dont have any answers for you. I didn't want to r & r. Hope AF stays away!

When I get very faint spotting close to AF it's usually AF. I also stopped spotting symptoms a long time ago..drove myself nuts and probably often imagined my sore boobs.

It just depends where you're comfortable at. Personally, I bounced between here and TTC#1..but left that forum because the new TTCers were sobbing and seriously bent out of shape if it's been 3 months and they still haven't got their . Anything longer than conceiving in the standard 12 month period is considered LTTCer. But you are right, we are all after the same goal regardless of our time spent TTC.

Hopefully you get your 2 lines..if not there's always another shot next month. Good Luck!

lol you are right yeah its hard hearing people saying there must be something wrong 'after 2/3 months ttc and still not pregnant' ive been doing this for just short of 2 years now. Yep I did get pregnant and this is my second im trying for and lost one in Feb and doc sees it as 7 months ttc (since loss) but im going from when I started ttc not my loss. My hubs tells me that at least we can get pregnant and I know thats true but I just worry that something is wrong with me after my loss.

I really hope this is it for you, with me I get lots of signs or no signs at all so its really hard to tell. FX hun

Armywife- Yea, spotting 3 days before AF is pretty common for me.And we are after the same goal regardless of how long. A shame it has taken others longer than it should

wantingagirl- Very sorry to hear of your loss! I know what you mean though. Even though you lost it, the fact that pregnancy occurred is pretty exciting! But, does make you worry about why

AF got me yesterday ladies, right smack on time! Grrrr!! Now I am wondering if my uterine wall isn't good enough for implantation? But, according to what I have read, women with heavy bleeds in the first day or 2 of their cycles usually have a really good wall for implantation *sighs*

Hopefully next cycle is a success for all of us LTTC'rs!!

I have very heavy bleeds and bad cramps the first 2 days of AF and I was just diagnosed with endometriosis. Have you had an internal US? It might be worth a look. Although I had a lot of the signs, many women don't have any signs of endo, which explains infertility in some women.

I actually have not had an internal US. I was supposed to with my old gyno (he moved away) because he thought I might have endo. BUT, I have no signs of endo and my current gyno doesn't believe I have it based on my charts. Sadly, my health insurance is now gone so I can't go unless I am willing to shell out $500 from pocket, which I don't have. I guess it isn't my time yet.

Most of us find our way over here when we are fed up of the endless squeals of 'TEST!' and 'why am I not pregnant after 3 minutes ' whining - but you're right, a lot of the issues are the same and you should post wherever you like!

Here here! People can be a bit silly sometimes! Try not to symptom spot, it doesn't help anything, but FX for you to get your BFP soon x

It's not like there's only one section to post in! I'm personally trying to conceive, half the time in a 2 week wait, ttc over 35, ttc after a loss, and depending on who you ask am also long term ttc and secondary infertility! I'm ttc #2 which is probably a subsection somewhere. I read 2ww most as I feel like that's when I'm usually on B'n'B - I agree that even if you have been trying a long time, it's not strange to post on 2ww as your post was about exactly that (ie a currecnt possible pregnancy not a long term problem), plus from the sound of it you;ve had the HSG but mentioned no further tests so are still trying 'naturally' (sorry correct me if I'm wrong I've not seen your other posts )
Sorry got no help with your symptoms as I think I had less symptoms when I actually was pg than I have had since I've been symptom spotting our minds and bodies can be cruel!!

SW- You are correct. I am still trying naturally even after the HSG. I will probably pursue the natural approach for a couple more years before I start getting really deep into "infertility testing" because it will just upset me more lol.
