I've been looking for a phone for Maria for her birthday (as it was agreed in Court I would get her a phone so that her dad can contact her directly). I wanted to find something simple as she can't read or navigate a proper phone and came across this https://tinitell.com/how-it-works/

Seems really good! As its a watch she can't drop it when she's playing, she doesn't need to be able to read as calls are voice-activated, and with the GPS I can see where she is if she's playing out and call her to come home when its time to come in

A quick google for you I've found https://www.ownfone.com, a very simple phone designed with the old and very young in mind.

Sounds good but its only for the UK and Ireland. I almost went for a senior phone that is similar to that one you linked but I didn't like that it can only call 4 numbers whereas the Tinitell can call as many numbers as you want to program in.

Ooooo that looks good! Did you get one?

If so, let me know how it goes. I might look into getting one for Joshua and Jacob next year.

Gonna order it after Christmas when I have moar money, they don't have the colour she wants available until January anyway.

Finally got the watch phone, seems good so far - shall have to send Maria out to play today to see how well the GPS works :)

That looks good, what colour did Maria want? Did the gps work?

She got the indigo colour as I asked for whichever was ready first. She only went down the road a little but the marker did move on the gps so it does seem to work - will get OH to take her out for a bike ride sometime this week so I can check it properly.
