I have water like discharge and it only been coming this week. I have spoken to midwife on tues and she said it's too early to be my waters but you know she doesn't know!! It's been increased per the last couple of days. I'm waiting for pregnancy unit to call me bk (I left a voicemail) but I'm so worried. I'm in bits!!! :-( pls someone let me know if you have experienced water discharge. No colour no smell just wet. I'm 15 weeks 6 days today xx

Yes I did! Over a couple of weeks it seemed to increase, there was nothing visible in my underwear except big wet patches and I was terrified it was my waters too. I spent a (very traumatic) day waiting in the Maternal and Fetal Assessment Unit at my hospital before they finally took a swab, and it was fine.

It happened to me at about the same time as you, and the Dr I saw said there is an increase in discharge in the second trimester, so I would be reasonably reassured that it's nothing to worry about :) Was also told it could be urine leaking under the increased pressure of the baby, or just sweat.

I was so paranoid before I got the swab results that I bought these pads which turn a certain colour if amniotic fluid is leaking (they're meant for ladies near the end of pregnancy but I was desperate!) - found them on ebay. Only used one and when it was fine it put my mind to rest.

If you can get in for a swab it will tell definitively whether it is fluid or not, but chances are you are fine :)

Hey hun. I get this all the time and sometimes its so bad it completely wets my underwear! Midwife told me its completely normal!! It is now starting to get a bit thicker. I usually find its quite watery around the time my period would normally have been due! I Hope this helps. If your really worried though then definitly go and get checked xxxx

I totally have this as well. I change my underwear a lot when not wearing a small panty liner. It doesn't make me anxious or anything at this stage.

I'm at pregnancy uint now.. Waiting to be seen. Those pads sound amazing! What are they? Fingerscrossed everything is fine!! OH is at work so couldn't come with me. Luckly I've got a brilliant dad (frightened first time grandad!!) thanks that has cheered me up to know xx

Yep, I've been having it too, from the very beginning, and still have it. Doctor said not to worry about it. Always ask your midwife/doctor as each pregnancy is different, but it sounds normal pregnancy discharge to me.

If it's smelly or chunky get tested for a yeast infection (which is harmless to the baby but one should get treated anyway. :winkwink:)

They tested it was fine! Not waters! Ohhh and babys HB 154bpm!! Just so happy!! Thanks ladies!! Will be going to buy pantie liners now!! xx

Those pads sound amazing! What are they?

They're called Vision Amniotic Leak Detectors. eBay and Access Diagnostics websites have them. Be warned though, they are uber expensive! Hope all's well anyway and your mind is put at rest

i had watery discharge to the point where my panties were soaked and i would feel a small gush when i stood up. this started at around the same time you are but got worse. when i went for my 20 weeks scan the sonographer said the fluid level was fine and my cervix was closed tight. just this week i noticed that the discharge had stopped. and my doctor never seemed at all worried.

it is also possible that the baby is low down and pushing on your bladder without you realizing and you are just leaking a bit of urine.
