Water

Hi girls

Just wondered if your LOs enjoy drinking water? I started weaning Emily about a fortnight ago and give her water in her sippy cup with each meal. She squeals with delight and tries to grab the cup from me!

Its lovely to see her enjoying it so much! I had huge problems getting baby #1 to drink water so its a nice change

PS I'm still breastfeeding her and have now given up on bottles as she will simply refuse them!

Mine loves water, she prefers it from a bottle though but she is trying her best with a sippy.

I don't think she'll need water at four and a half months - your breast milk changes according to what she needs and she's getting her nutrition mainly from your milk so if she drinks water she might take less milk and therefore not get enough nutrients. You could give her a bit of ebm in a cup maybe?
