Ok - we don't know if its a boy or girl yet until february but we just cannot agree on names!

It's driving me mad! Everything i suggest he just says no and everything he suggests i hate!

All we have kind of agree'd that we both like at the moment is Sophie for a girl!

I just hope we can agree before its born or it will just be called baby all its life!! :dohh:

Write everything down so you can keep looking back at any names either of you like to see if they grow on you.

We had that problem and again we agreed on just one name. That name is Kacey. We both love it. Im having a girl. Its still Kacey. If you have not agreed then its probably means you dont have the right one. Both right down 10 girls and boys name on seperate sheets so you cant see. Then go down list and see if you match on any. I read once that someone said when you have a name go to your door and shout it out. Cause in a few years thats what your gonna be doing.

lol i always say this about naming a new horse / dog if you dont feel stupid shouting it out in the middle of a field then its the right name! :haha:

I believe my hubby and i will never agree on a name. we had our girl name picked before our ultrasound, but couldn't find anything for a boy. And of course, we are having a boy! Everything I love, he says no and vice versa.. I dont understand why it is so difficult, but you will eventually find something... good luck! :-)

We both made a list of names. Gabriel wasn't on my husband's list because it hadn't occurred to him, but it just really stuck out and grew on us. We both had names the other didn't like, but there were a few in common as well.

the great thing about now being single :haha: but fob was like that with me, he liked really old names like Alfred and Cuthbert :dohh:
I think what its best to do is both go through a names book, write lists of which u like and then both write a list of matches. Then decide from there :)

Me and my OH didn't agree on a name until I was about 38 weeks! It might take a long time but you'll get there in the end! :haha: xx

Really quite gutted to be honest - i love the name Cora for a girl but hubby hates it! :nope: and says no :cry:there is no talking him round but i really like it.

Sorry little selfish rant lol

i was in love with Harlow, an kept saying Harlow Harlow, isnt that cute Harlow awww.
and he never came round :nope:

Maybe try suggesting really obscure names or just the type of name you know he'll hate, and then the ones you really like won't seem so bad to him! That's what I reckon helped me anyway

We are having the EXACT same problem! He is suggesting all these horrible names and he won't accept any of mine. Driving me insane. There's one name we decided we both like which is shocking, I was starting to give up

my neice is called kacie-jo :) x

I think its best when you agree .. however, my more wicked side, would suggest that immediately after the birth and when you've been through all that pain, you can hold the baby up the world and call it whatever you like and no-one should be able to disagree with you.

I admit this is quite underhand thou. Maybe best to keep an open mind.

I hadn't fully decided on Josh's name, OH had suggested 'Joshua James' as we wanted JJ initials. After he was born ,I was still in aw of the whole thing when Jonni rang my parents to tell them, and while on the phone he gave me a look when it came to announcing the name and I nodded - my head was blank! Couldn't think of a boys name, lol. I think thats why OH is letting me take the lead with name choices this time.

We found out last week we are having a little girl :happydance::happydance:

So at least now we only have to worry about girls names! Although we still can't agree!! :nope:
