I'm trying to start weaning my 14 month old from breastfeeding. I'm not exactly in a rush, but I feel as if it's going to be a long process as she loves nothing more than nursing! I work 40+ hours, and from about 4-12 she's with dad. If she's with him, she doesn't get breastfed - she simply gets dinner, snacks (cheese, goldfish, etc) and a sippy cup. As of right now, she really only feeds 2 or 3x a day. 3 if she's being fussy & nothing else will console her, her nap time, & bed time. The thing that's killing me is she wakes up every night at 3 AM and if I try t talk to her or rock her, she will cry and throw herself back and nothing else will make her go back to sleep. I've started cutting the amount of titime but I just need reassurance that there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
