Weaning off boob onto bottle?

Hello
What is the best way to wean my baby off the bob and onto bottles he is 5 months old. Not bothered about boobs being painful or what ever just what ways best to cause least distress possible? Know loads of people that gave up breast feeding but all at a lt earlier age

Don't know if its best for baby. Stop cold turkey or gradually?

I would imagine that stopping cold turkey would be extremely distressing for baby, so probably best to gradually replace one feed at a time.

Yeah that's what I thought I have been away from him for a whole weekend before and he was fine then. He has no problems taking a bottle.
I breasted my daughter till she was about one when she weaned herself so its all new to me
