Weaning off breastmilk during day - but up all night to nurse?? AND not taking bottle

Help! We're trying to get LO (9 months) to take a bottle during the day -- which she's not -- so are mixing formula into her cereals and rice, and holding off on breastfeeding after her morning feed (around 8-9am) until her evening feed (aiming for 7pm, but really just making it to around 5pm).

Enter problem 1:
She's not taking formula from a bottle -- will try it then pffffffts it out, or a sippy cup (refuses once she realizes it's not water), and I have tried an avent 12+month which she plays with but doesn't really drink from.
I am so worried she isn't getting enough formula during the day...
She won't take it cold or warm, and we only have access to powder here, not cartons.
I don't want to express during the day as I am trying to get at least an 8 hour break in feeding to start my cycle back up...

Problem 2:
Since doing this, she is waking up every 2 hours crying, and wanting to breastfeed back to sleep every time. Maybe because she can't have it during the day now and she wants the comfort? She wasn't a great sleeper before, but we were at least getting 3 hour stretches...have been trying for a week now, with no change...

have you tried night weaning instead so you can get your 8 hrs at night? I know it sounds harder but it will be easier to get those extra calories in the day than at night. I would get your oh to comfort her when she wakes at night and offer water. To start with i would probably only make her go 5-6hrs without bf. I was complaining last night that i will never get lo to stop breastfeeding whilst we co sleep. Then this morning i got up before lo was awake and when he woke up oh gave him a cuddle and told me not to feed him as he has already come around.I didint and lo didnt make too much fuss so we got up and did breakfast.
