A quick hair question:

I'm having a trial of my wedding hair when I get to resort, and the spa at the hotel seems pretty impressive.

I've picked a style now, keeping it simply, BUT my question is:

Did you have a trail of it in the UK prior to flying to resort if you got marriage aboard? OR what would you do?

Do you think trial out there with there hairdresser is fine? Or should I have one with my hairdresser as well?

Thank you ladies! Think i shall be bombarding bnb with wedding related questions for the next 7 weeks  Booked for a year and i've finally gone into panic mode

I'm not getting married abroad, but I think if I was was, I would have a trial with my hairdresser in the UK first, to make sure the style suited me  Unless you already know that the style suits you? The only problem with doing that though would be that either the UK hairdresser or the resort hairdresser may not do as good as the other, and you may get put off unessesarily  It's up to you hun. The reason it's a trial at the resort is if you dont like it you can choose a different style/hairdresser. I am sure you will look grogeous whatever though :hugs: x

thanks aly, you've said just what i was thinking, on one hand it might not suit me, but at the same time, what if they don't do it like each other?!? i'm not worried about my hairdresser here, she is utterly amazing, but what if the resort doesn't live up to her! ekkkkk!

think i may speak to my hairdresser about this lol! having my hair done friday so i think i need to field her some questions

I would get a trial done here take a picture of it, take it with you and say this is what i want

I'm getting married in Disney next year :hi: Which resort are you staying in?

I'm going to go for a trail hair do with my hairdresser and get them to take a few pictures. I'm then getting my hair done over there the day before as a trail run to make sure they have it how I want it for the big day.

see thats what i was thinking ladies, trial here with my hairdresser, piccies and then trial over there! normal hair app tomorrow :)happydance:) so shall be sorting with my brilliant hairdresser

happy - we're staying at the world swan resort :cloud9: it's been booked for so long now that i can't believe it's finally here! you must be so excited for yours sweetie :cloud9:

We are staying at the Swan resort as well, but getting married at the Grand Floridian.

Not long until yours! I'm so stressed with everything though there's so much to plan I hadn't even thought about hair until i saw your post!

I just had my destination wedding and I had a hair trial out there the day before the wedding, but I kind of wish I would have also had a hair trial at home first. That way you can know exactly how that kind of style will look on you. It worked alright for me not to, but just wasn't quite what I was expecting. Although also be prepared that with a different hair stylist it wont be exactly the same. But atleast you'll have a pretty good idea of what to expect and your hair trial down there will help if you need to change it slightly for your big day.
