I am about to order my wedding invites, and I can have the wording so it says you are invited to blah blah blah, or it can be written with a blank space for me to write in names, which one should I pick? I'm leaning towards the invite without a space for me writing in the name, as I think it looks nicer, but if I don't have the ones with a space, where would the names of the people invited go?

These aren't my invites, but this is the choice between the name bit....

Thank you.

Hi...I see what you mean! Bit unusual init? I like the look of the fully printed ones, but I think the others are more personal! Also, how neat is your handwriting?

Ive done mine with the gap so I can write exactly whos invited so there's no crossed wires

I wan't names on them, I wan't people to be sure they are invited, so I will have to go for the ones with a blank line on them I think.... Kimbowee did you have the names in the middle of the invite like the ones in the picture or just add the names to the top of the invite? :)

And handwriting is okish, I'll have to start practicing. :p

Ours wording is the same as the one with the dotty line! I wanted to be sure that everyone knew exactly who was invited!

I had the gap like the ones in the picture. I bought a nice pen and did my best handwriting and it looks really good

We are very limited on numbers so i didn't want people assuming they were invited so have gone with the space to write.

For example, OHs cousin has 3 kids (eldest is 17) and it was assumed his GF would be invited!! Now when they get the invite, it will actually have everyones name on x

I agree with the other ladies, it will save on crossed wires if you have the one with the line and write exactly who is invited.
This is how we have done ours.

you would think that people would understand that the names the invitation are addressed to are the ones who are invited! most of my friends that are getting married are putting "please no children" on their invites now.
