Heya Girlies

Just got engaged and so gonna start to pull different ideas together even though it will probably be 2-3 years till we get married! :wedding:

Just wanted to ask did any of you girls buy one of those wedding planner books/folders with the different divided sections, pockets, spaces to keep fabric swatches and make notes etc?? Do you recommend any certain one because there's quite a few out there? I know some of them have some handy calenders of when to book stuff ...

Or am I better off buying a plain folder from the stationers and some dividers lol!

Ty!

I bought a White folder from a stationer and put some ribbon around it, put in some dividers and plastic pockets so then i can fill it with whatever i want! Some of the bought files do look nice but I think they could get filled up quickly and they may not have enough space for the things you want to put in it, especially if you're going to be putting in 2-3 years worth of stuff!

I have a normal A4 silver file from Tesco. I went into shops to look at the wedding planner files but couldn't see any. I've seen a few online that look good, but I'd rather see them in person before buying them.

I was lucky in that someone i work with got be a gorgeous wedding planner as a engagement present. I use it but i still find i tend to scribble things down in my notepad lol.

One thing i would reccommend is making a wedding mood board. I got a huge canvas from staples and stiuck on it pictures from wedding magazines/ribbon/sweets (my theme) and paper samples and that. Means i can visually see it all together

I'm afraid I'm a go with the flow kind of person, so I had a look at a few magazines but never made a planner or folder as such I just turned up at shops going "I like that, I like that!" :haha: Just today I went to look for my flowers, a colour in mind and just went with what I thought looked pretty.

There is always good stuff at WHSmiths tho, maybe try there? xxx
