Weight gain at 10 weeks

Hello,
my cousin is 10 weeks pregnant with her first child. she have all ready gained 6lbs and constantly hungry! Has anyone else gained weight this early on. I am really worried that she will balloon throughout this pregnancy. It's also hard keeping it quiet with a tummy starting to stick out!! I would love to hear from someone in a similar position!!

Im totally in that position; however, I'm carrying twins - so weight gain is suppose to be more in the first to help stimulate growth. How much did she gain?
