I started my pregnancy being 30 pounds overweight to begin with!
At my last prenatal appt. I weighed in at 215.4!!! And my doctor took that "tone of voice" that I've gained another 30 pounds and need to watch what I eat. ((mind you she's one of those stick-figure people)).

I've been reading online that baby will be gaining a half a pound per week from this point (I'm 33w 4d by the way, so still at least 7 weeks left). Which is just going to make me look like I'm gaining too much.

I felt bad enough about it on my own, but the doctor's reaction has me feeling so much worse. Just not fair!

I wouldn't worry about it too much, I was about 210 lbs when I have birth to DD and boy did I feel huge. Over here you only get weighed at your booking in appointment they kind of leave you alone after that. When she was 6 months I was back to 154lbs. This time I've started heavier and no doubt will finish off huge again... Try and eat healthily and don't stress.. I need to take my own advice as I have been eating some amount of rubbish!
