Weird cycles need help..

We are ttc #2. Before we actually started trying my cycles were like 30-31 days. We started ttc since last cycle. Last cycle was 33 day long and this cycle was 36 days long. I got my af today. There is no cramping. Was this a chemical or miscarriage or nothing at all. I didn't take any hpt so it's pretty confusing. If I take an hpt now will it help me in knowing if it was chemical or miscarriage. I mean it will still show positive as Hcg take time to come down. Please advice. Thanks

Take a hpt to be sure. Some women can bleed/spot whilst pg. The stress of ttc could be affecting your cycles, try to keep calm about it and not read into it too much. It will happen when it happens. Its also not uncommon for women to have periods a few days out, even if timing is terrible a hpt may not show a chemical/miscarraige so early even if it was. Don't be disheartened- its the worst feeling thinking you have lost one so early you cant test- been there best advice i can give, relax with it. Stress can easily affect your cycle
