Weird period after Clomid #1

Hi

I finished my first cycle of clomid recently, :AF: visited dead on time anyway, ive been having a very unusual period which Ive not read in any of the side effects.

The bleeding is basically just blood rather than mucusy period stuff and there are mahussive clots, three have been like the size of a jelly baby now. I feel ok, had quite sharp stabby pains yday, but today all fine.

Does anyone have any experience of anything similar to this? Ive googled it, but not much comes up.

Hiya Cranberry, I've had something similar, but not the same. After 2 cycles of clomid I had a very weird period, in that it was just TMI ALERT dark brown discharge. No blood at all. That's why I haven't taken my third cycle because I was waiting for my 'proper' flow. I think clomid can mess with your cycles, but in a different way for different people. It's annoying isn't it, we just want consistency with our periods - medium flow that comes every 28 days!!!
Your period sounded really heavy hun, I've had ones like that before, but only when I came off BCP after running them back-to-back for a holiday when I was a teenager. I hope you're feeling better now, big

hi, I did my first round of Clomid and I'm experiencing a rough period. I don't have a natural period so I have always been on provera or promeitrium to bring it on. I started to cramp 3 days before af and all thru af. I feel horrible. Have any of you ladies gone threw this. I know this is TMI but it was also dark brown. So confused.
