So I went into hospital 5 days before my actual planned csection date with intense pain on my left side, it was horrible I was keeling over in agony and throwing up... For the first few days I was there they just monitored me and gave me painkillers (morphine) for the pain. Then before I knew it, it was monday! ( 2 days before my planned date, I was 38 + 5) The midwife popped her head in and asked me if I had eaten anything that day to which I replied 'no' so she said 'oh good, well don't eat anything at all okay?' then left the room. Me and my partner looked at eachother and knew that, that was the day our son would be born. My heart started racing and my palms got sweaty. Then it all got confirmed when the consultant said that they was going to section me today as something was clearly not right for me to be in this much pain for this long. They cannluated me and gave me a sexy looking hospital gown and a reaaaally tight pair of socks that made me itch like mad! Before I knew it I was being walked down to theatre. The staff were SO lovely and made me feel so comfortable. I was terrified of getting the spinal due to my traumatic emcs with my daughter but this anesthiest was so lovely and it couldn't have gone any better! He did the spinal in 1 min 33 seconds which he timed :haha: before I knew it I heard my waters pop and knew Isaac would be here soon. Then all of a sudden they pulled the curtian down infront of me and there he was! It was magical. I then heard him cry and that was it I couldn't stop my eyes from streaming! All in all it was an amazing experience that was a far cry from my daughters traumatic birth, it was a very healing and beautiful experience. After my csection they said my pain was caused by severe adhesions and that my uterus was so thin there that she worries about me carrying another baby to term. But that's not something im worried about yet, I have my perfect little family :flower:
Isaac Joshua John Gear was Born on May the 19th weighing 7lb 12oz at 14:38pm :flow:
