Went to check pram order times

Went in to John Lewis to check order times for the icandy peach 3 in truffle & they can't guarantee it will be here before baby is born! Likely it'll be August but can't guarantee. We were going to order tomorrow. Now I'm in a panic . Going to try a local independent shop tomorrow to see what their order times are.
The girl in John Lewis said the black magic icandy peach 3 isn't due until jan!! Wtf?!
Anyone else having bother?

I ordered mine 5 weeks ago and was told July by John Lewis (whom I understand get priority as they are their biggest stockist) They are known for delays, it's insane!

If you go on the icandy Facebook page, quite often stockists post on there advertising they have stock in ready to go-it may be worth taking a look there and even posting what your after.

Oh god what a nightmare I am in a total panic now! Thought 14 weeks would be plenty of time!! I'm going to ask what their policy is for cancelling if I end up having to cancel because it's not here on time!
The girl said they are notoriously bad with production, they never make enough stock!!

It all depends on the store you purchase it from, we ordered a Peach Jogger today and put down approximately 1/3rd as a deposit with the balance to pay on collection.

Guys I went to the local retailer yesterday and got my pram ordered, it will be delivered late July/early August. What a relief I honestly could've cried in the shop.
So sad we get ourselves so worked up about stuff! Such a relief now!

sorry that its not related to your pram but John Lewis wound me up with a similar thing when I wanted a new car seat that was coming out. It had a message on the website alongside the photo and item description,saying available 31st Oct. I remember as it was Halloween, and I had planned to log on immediately that day and get it ordered. A day or two before this date, the entire item vanished off the website, and they gave me a story about how it could be December blah blah.

I had been putting off getting my son a seat as that date would be just on time for him growing out of my previous one really. In the end I bought a different seat from a different site in a big annoyance.

I had a similar experience with John Lewis, the member of staff was so unhelpful! In the end I went elsewhere but I was advised by three other suppliers that they anticipated stock by mid August!

Icandy do this every year. It's so annoying. When we ordered our one in 2012 JL were to only company who has an account with icandy so they receive their orders before others are fulfilled. I would check if this is still the case.

To be honest as much as I loved my peach2 my daughter out grew it pretty quickly at 15 months (the foot muffs are tiny). We were going to change to a city mini jogger until I found out I was pregnant again. It is a lovely pram but expensive. I just wish I knew what I know now.

I've finally odered mine this morning and as anticipated, have been given a delivery date in August..

Something else worth bearing in mind is that I went to a small, local supplier and they offered me £80 off the retail price because I ordered the pram and stroller... you wouldn't get that in John Lewis!!

I rang them to check the status of mine today. The checked with icandy directly-should be end of July for John Lewis. Mines cobalt.

It sounds like Truffle is the popular colour, so if anyone's after that I suggest ordering soon.

I was told July by John Lewis for.our peach 3 cobalt blossom, cannot wait as we had a peach 1 before and best pram for baby and toddler.

We also use a double baby jogger city mini gt for 2 + 3 year old and it's great once they are older if you don't mind a side by side x

Yay! John Lewis phoned! Mines arrived (well it was meant for another customer, but arrived too late and I was next on the list)

They are holding it for me for a few weeks too before delivering it so I don't have it at home hanging around and taking up room

Yeah pussy galore I got money off mine at the local retailer too, so chuffed.
They told us in our area they get bulk of the stock even over John Lewis which was confirmed by icandy so I'm really happy.

I think truffle and black magic are really popular so that's been the problem with John Lewis, so glad to have panic over now though :-D

Are you getting the car seat too or just the stroller? Sorry I'm in the US so I'm never fully sure if pram is just the stroller or not. Anyway, if it is just the stroller... you really don't need that for a while at first. At least we didn't. And even when we went places we just carried the car seat. Didn't start using the stroller for a few months, so you should be okay! Now if it is the car seat, well... you need that to drive the baby home in, LOL, so in that case I understand your panic!
