We're never going to find a name :(

Still got a while yet but I can't help but feel we'll never choose a name

OH hates most of the names I love and vice versa And even the names I used to love I'm going off now

For a girl we had it narrowed down to Ella or Mia.
I think they are both really 'pretty' names but I can't decide between. I thought I preffered Ella but now I think I prefer Mia, for some reason I reckon
Ella's a blonde girl's name and since me and OH are both dark haired I thought Mia might be more appropriate, plus I'm half italian so it's still quite exotic.
Although tbh I'm sick of both names now


For a boy OH loves Ethan. And I mean LOVES. Like, I'm not even getting a say. I hated it at first, then liked it, and now I really don't like it again. I'm not sure why, probably from hearing it so much but also from seeing a few naughty Ethans. He loves Spencer and Noah too.
I LOVE the name Luca, but OH hates it, thinks its too pretentious, even though thats exactly the reason why he loves Ethan and Spencer. I really like Christopher aswell (OHs name), but the idea of them both having the same name puts me off, even though I call OH Chris. I like it shortened to Chris aswell. But OHs buisness partner is also Chris and I have a cousin Christopher so it might get rather confusing. I also really like Aiden but my cousin named her son that, and since there will only be a year between them and me and my cousin are close so the kids are likely to be aswell, I'm not sure if we could really name him that.

Of all the names youve mentioned I love Ella (one of my choices), and Noah & Luca. Im sure you'll come to an agreement as the time nears. .

Forgot to say, if it is Ethan it will be Ethan James.
I loved Ella Grace, than realised initials would be EGG as OHs surname starts with 'G' so thats out

I *love* the name Luca, it is up there on my list with Alessandro for a boy

I think Mia would be a beautiful name, and obviously you'll know it means my/mine in Italian which would be perfect.

MY OH is 3/4 Italian, so we'll most probably be going with something that reflects his heritage.

Got to say I love the name Ethan, it makes me think of Ethan Hawke

I love Ella (my cousin has that name and she is a brunette hehe!) the name Mia is OK but reminds me of a naughty little girl I know (who is blonde haha!)

I love Ethan too and Noah!

We're a bit in the same situation except we only to think of boys names! One of my friends suggested today (as we were talking about baby names) that we don't limit ourselves to the names we like at the moment. Best is to keep looking for names, suggest new ones you like aqnd maybe one day, you will both fall for one name!

Otherwise, I like Ella and Noah!

Have you maybe thought about combining Mia and Ella? Miella?

Spencer and Noah are both lovely names. For a compromise maybe Ethan Spencer or Noah Ethan.
