im trying to avoid ebay for selling second hand goods as the fees are beyond a joke. So i have put loads on hear but im not having much joy selling them so was wonderign were else i could try

thanks

I think ebay probably is your best bet. That's where I sell mine. If it's branded, like Next or Baby Gap, you can do really well with it but it's the luck of the draw. Sometimes I sell stuff and get quite a lot for it, but I could sell something similar the next week and get nothing. Either that or do a boot sale? x

Ive been selling on ebay years but im fed up with it it costs 30p in fees to sell something for 99p and £2.20 post once paypal have taken their cut :-( i mite just bundle it all up on a but it collect only. Why do paypal even take a cut of your postage costs its ridiculous i only noticed they was doing ti the other day not they have changed it and made thigs more clear.

has ur town got a local fb selling page ? or try pre-loved/gumtree etc if not u shud try doing a carboot but there outa season now i think x

i dont have facebook thought of that but i really cant stand face book i shut my account 3 years ago

I buy loads on facebook but if you're not up for that you could always try getting a stall at an nct nearly new sale or something similar, the ones near me are really popular.

I have a bundle of over 100+ really good baby girl items, I tried putting it on eBay for collection only but with 1 day left I still had no watchers so I took it off. Was really hoping to avoid having to sell it in smaller bundles because of all of the charges. Might try to setup a table at a baby nearly-new sale they're having in my town next month. Folks on Gumtree always get in touch and try to lowball you - you'll have something on for like 40 quid and someone will write and say 'will you take a tenner?'. Um, no!

Jack and jill market- we went to one a few months ago and people were queued up the streetto get in

mite keep hold of gthem till all our toys are out grown and do a carboot could have done with having shut of them though :-/ ther isnt enough clothes alone to do a stall suppose i could send them by courier

I think a boot sale will be the best way, I'm wanting to do one but need a kick up the bum to get stuff sorted :flower:

i don have enough stuff to do a boot sale its just baby clothes realy unless like i say i save them till al the toys are grown out of and do it all in one but havent really got the storage space :-/

You could do one with family member or friend who also doesn't have enough stuff :flower:

Do you have any flea markets in your area? they may be worth it, otherwise there are other sites on the internet for second hand goods, depending on your area.

i mite do that recycle thing were you get x amount per kilo any experience wit this
also may just donate the new baby stuff to scbu when my son was in there they didnt have newborn or 0-3 clothing they only had tiny baby stuff which was a pain as i had to do a 30 mile round trip to pick him up some clothes when he came out of incubator into crib

Boot sale, Ebay, Gumtree, Local paper, Front lawn sale, Facebook page, Cash4clothes, Charity shop if you just want to get rid, Freecycle.

How about making a facebook page specifically for selling? I have my personal facebook and then 1 just for selling, and I sell loooads on there! I try to avoid ebay too, I've only used it a couple of times lately just to get rid of things.

how do you sell on ebay is it the same as selling on hear? how do peole find your selling page?

Yeh just make an account and give it a name, & then u can find groups for putting pics in, and u just start adding people/advertising on groups etc and your page will soon build up. Want me to pm u my selling page? & I'll pm u some links to groups? xxx

im not gunna bother with fb hun really wanna avoid it were poss :-/
lets say im not fb's biggest fan lol
