Well, I took a withdrawal from my 401k to pay for the funeral and burial services for Angel Adalynn, but that's all I could afford. I didn't have enough to buy the headstone and I figured my OH and I would just have save up to purchase one when we could.

Family and friends offered to donate money to buy one, but I wanted to do it or find a way myself.. if I couldn't take care of my baby in life then I wanted to do it in death. Sooo, I applied for a grant from the hospital (I work there) and they just called and told me I got approved for a grant for $1000! :happydance: I'm so excited that I can buy Angel Adalynn her headstone now. My pride is a little bruised because it still isn't my money I'm using to purchase it, but I am happy that I did the application and everything myself.

Sorry, I am just so excited and had to tell yall!

It is your money, you work there and therefore the salary you earn is reflective of the fact that there are other things which you can get. I honestly believe you have earnt the money you are about to receive by working there.

Adalynn is going to absolutely adore the headstone from you :happydance:

I am so pleased for you as I know how much it means to get a stone :hugs:

Wow, great that you got the grant - that will make things so much easier for you. You'll be able to get a lovely headstone

Thats fantastic hun :hugs: I'm glad you will get to choose your headstone now :hugs:

I am so sorry for you loss of Angel Adalynn,:cry::cry::cry:. I am happy to hear you got the money for the stone. When we buried Ava we were going to bury her alone then my dad was going to go with her. My father was going to buy a plot and a headstone for Ava. Then we found out at the cemetery they had a section just for babies, they are all in separate caskets but buried together . We have a special spot for Ava where we have all her angels and flowers. I still question if this was right to do, my husband wanted her with all the other babies and at first I did also, but now I am thinking my dad will be alone so maybe I should have put her with him. Then I think Ava would be alone till my dad got there with her, I was so confused..

I still don't know if i did the right thing, but I know she is up there in heaven playing with all the other baby angels, so I need to think I did the right thing.

I am sorry you even have to go through this, but I am so glad and happy you have everything you need now..:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:
