What a Weirdo: Doing a Hoo-Ha Happy Dance

So... today is the first time in my life that I've investigated what's going on up inside my lady parts, spent a freakishly long time examining my fluids... and did a ridiculous little happy dance at what I found in my hoo-ha!! The first EWCM I can ever remember having. Woohoo, baby.

TTC makes us such freaks, doesn't it? Would my 21 year old self believe this version of me? I think she'd be shocked-- and rightfully so. I've turned into a TTC weirdo! (and proud of it!)

But after all of my physically-mature life spent on BCPs, I wasn't even sure my body could make EWCM... The absurd things that make us TTCers happy!

This is a question I have, too. I can sorta feel it when I lay in certain positions, but I have a really hard time telling how, exactly, it should feel when I'm fertile.

Took another OPK today and negative, negative, negative. Still have some EWCM but not as much as yesterday. Confusing! It'd be nice to know when this O thing is gonna happen!

my opks are confusing too. I just made sure to bd when my ovulation calendars said i was fertile

We TTCers are definitely a breed all our own.

Still haven't gotten a positive on a OPK, and EWCM is gone. So weird! Not sure if I missed my O or it just isn't going to happen yet. Gonna keep testing...

I love it!! I did a little dance the other day when my opk was suddenly way darker than it had been, my husband looked at me like I was crazy!

opks are confusing. i just started using them this last month and thought they werent working...THEN got the EWCM on CD12 and positive OPKs the following 2 days...they say dont check on a morning but TBH i found it useful ( especially if you want a really good indication of when the surge is about to start)....i did it morning and early evening since CD10 because i wasnt sure when i ovulated. even if you get a negative today and tomorrow...i would still take the EWCM as BDing time....have fun!

I think you're totally right! I thought OPKs would be the ticket, but they seem anything but foolproof. And I like the suggestion of at least trying with FMU... I think one of my problems is that I drink too much water and my sample is diluted... and I can't hold it for 4 hours to get a good sample. I'm a once-an-hour pee-er even when I DON'T drink a lot of water.

We BD'd during my EWCM time, so hopefully I'm covered whether I've already O'd or not. Frustrating, though, not to know. I'll keep testing, anyway!
