What am I seeing?

Told boy at 15+3...

But what am I seeing? Obviously a penis. I've just never seen a potty shot like this, girl or boy. His legs were crossed and the cord was between them though I don't think this is shown in this picture. The image was also clearly not taken directly underneath as you can see his head.

If anyone has images similar or can explain or draw over this I'd be grateful!

On your pic to me it looks like two legs either side (thighs) and a winky in the smaller dangly bit. Mine is 14 weeks 2 days x

I think you can clearly see the top leg, the willy, and then he's moving his other leg so it came out all blurry and strangely shaped. Where are you seeing baby's head?

I'm not seeing the head but I'd say it's definitely a potty shot. As pp said there's one leg sticking straight out, penis next to it and the other leg must have been moving as it's not as clear xx

The first image I posted was the one the tech gave me saying it's a boy, but I have never seen a penis in a potty shot look like that!

Here's another potty shot which I have drawn on... I've shown where the face is in GREEN from the angle of the potty shots which doesn't show so clearly in the first but now you can see what I mean about it not being taken directly under him. The thighs are in BLUE. Cord I have pointed to in RED but is the three lines near his him cord too? And between are his bits, which again I've never really seen on boy or girl potty shot.

Anyone else seen this before? Where's his scrotum?

I'm not sure what the extra bits in your 2nd pic are, it could be cord or a bit of the stomach bounced back? The ultrasound only pics up one cross section at a time hence being able to see inside the body But your 1st pic shows a very clear rounded scrotum and penis, the reason you may not have seen a potty shot like that before is that people are not always lucky enough to a get such a clear shot! The pictures are always never 100% so always keep your receipts, but I would be very surprised if thats a lady Do you have a name for him?

I knew it's be a boy, but as it's so early I'm not 100% or buying things! He will be my third boy and I'm actually quite excited to be having another boy, especially as the age difference between him and my youngest will only be 1 year and 6 days if he's on time! Not to mention I have all the clothes I'll ever need! I wouldn't mind a girl but I'm not disappointed, I think because this baby was a complete surprise so we didn't have a preference other than "a girl would be nice", we intended to stop with the two anyway so didn't see girls in the future. Just me and the eldest cat hahaha. We dont actually have a name yet, my 20 week scan is Friday so once confirmed I guess we will start seriously thinking! The other two are Hunter Scott and River Avery. With Hunter, I also liked Dexter at the time (5 years ago!), and with River, his name was going to be Bodhi but we changed it pretty much at the 20 week scan! This time I quite like Forrest!
