The nursery we are looking into is 35 pounds a day. It has got really good HMI reports as well. Is this expensive or is it a good deal for a nursery? What are nursery costs like where you are from?

Oh, and how the heck do you work out childcare tax credits - my husband gets this at his work but we are a bit confused about it.

rhys and ffion are in 25 hours per week, so thats 50 hours (25hr each) and i pay £154 a week.

The one I was looking at for Daisy is 36 per day so it sounds about right, there are cheaper ones but the one I looked at had a fab report and was recommended by mums xxx

That's really good for 50 hours a week

Sams is £20 for 5 hours and he goes thurs and fri mornings for all day its £40 x

For a full days its 41.50 and 178.50 for a full week 8am to 6pm.

the more days you do the cheaper it is.. if you get me? if they do 20hrs a week each it costs me 132(33 per morning for the 2 of them) but for them to do 25hrs each it only costs me 154 (30.50 per morning for the 2 of them) if they do 30hrs a week which they sometimes do it costs me 168 (28 per morning for the 2 of them)

does that make sense?

Do they give you discount if you have more than one child at the nursery?

no but i think the way they do it is great, as in the more hrs the less it costs per hour!

Holly one is £20 for a morning or afternoon but £31.50 for a full day!!

Harry's nursery costs £33 a day. If he was there full time (e.g. every day) it would be slightly cheaper, but he's only there Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They also offer a 10% discount for a second child.

142 a week for full time 8-6 but about 35 a day but if you book full time you get discount to make it the 142
