Due to me being in pain?? will they even care? i am getting false contractions - been having them over a week now and every day i am miserable and in pain. my section isnt for another 2 weeks i just want her out now!!!!!!! she is a big baby apparently, i feel like my body cant carry her anymore, i can barely walk! i'm seeing the consultant tomorrow i'll be 37 weeks is it even worth asking? :(

It's worth asking but I don't think that they will, just because of the booking that's needed as they can only have a certain amount booked per day and they are usually booked for 39 weeks when they are not for emergency reasons.

They usually try and push for a natural birth too, which makes me think (I could be wrong) that if you're looking like you'll go naturally that they'll wait and see what happens. My baby was 10lb 1oz at birth and they were still pushing for me to have a vaginal birth after a three day labour and her being back to back... It took the doctor on duty to book me in for an emcs in the end

Thanks for replying, youre right, they said nope!! just gave me painkillers and said i have to wait. its going to be a long 2 weeks!!!!!!

I know how much waiting sucks, the first few days are always the longest (I was two weeks overdue) especially if you're in pain. Try and relax and rest up, your LO will be here before you know it :)
